Job Title: Junior ConsultantLocation: OxfordJob Type: PermanentSalary: £28,000 - £35,000SPONSORSHIP NOT AVAILABLEKey Responsibilities:- Undertake thermal modelling and analysis including Heat Loss/Heat Gain calculations, TM52 and TM59 (Overheating) and TM54 (Operational Energy) assessments.- Contribute to Part O compliance studies and energy modelling using IES VE, SAP (Part L1), and SBEM/BRUKL (Part L2).- Support BREEAM and Passivhaus assessments, providing input on energy performance, comfort, and sustainability credits.- Assist with preparation of technical reports, energy statements, and design-stage documentation.- Work collaboratively with architects and engineers, using SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD to coordinate and visualise building performance outcomes.- Develop a strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and sustainable design best practice.Skills and Experience:- Degree in Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Environmental Design, or related field.- Knowledge or experience with IES VE, SAP, SBEM/BRUKL, associated guidance (TM52, TM54, TM59).- Familiarity with BREEAM and Passivhaus standards desirable.- Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
