Working closely with the Head of Finance, you''ll oversee day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records and support a small finance team. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, through to trial balance. Manage purchase and sales ledger activities, supplier payments and reconciliations. Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations and assist with cashflow forecasting. Oversee the Equals department, including staff debit cards and transaction processing. Prepare journals, financial reports and analyse data using Excel. Support contract tendering, supplier management and service charge reconciliations. Line manage and support two Accounts Assistants. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring financial controls and policies are followed. Provide cover for the Head of Finance when required and support the wider finance function.
