Abatec is looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Section Leader to join our Supply Chain Department, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all logistics functions across the business and playing a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement. Monday to Friday 35,000 Full Time - Permanent Responsibilities Plan and lead logistics team, to include internal transportation for all Units introduce Kanban systems where appropriate and Utilise ERP system to maximise efficiencies in receiving product, and method of delivery to point of use incorporating Bar Code technology and stock control using PI Counting methodology Warehouse management to ensure efficient use of space and ensure appropriate material handling equipment including Forklifts used throughout the Business. Supervise, coach and train warehouse teams Resolve any arising problems or complaints Maintain driver Quality and No-show rate Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements Working with the purchasing team to effectively manage stock levels, considering quality, cost and delivery impact.
