SERVICE ENGINEER - AUTOMATIC DOORSFull-time Field BasedWe''re looking for a Service Engineer to join a growing service team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and upgrades to automatic door systems at customer sites.This is a field-based role suited to someone with strong mechanical and/or electrical skills who enjoys fault-finding, working independently and delivering excellent customer service.THE ROLEYour responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs Diagnosing existing and potential faults using a logical approach Completing modernisation and system upgrade works Carrying out door safety checks and investigating incidents Providing technical support to customers and colleagues Recommending preventative maintenance, replacement parts and system improvements Identifying opportunities for upgrades and additional service requirements Completing all required service documentation accurately Managing vehicle stock, tools, equipment, uniform and PPE Following customer site procedures and health and safety requirements Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota Delivering a professional and reliable service at customer sitesABOUT YOUPrevious experience working with automatic doors is highly desirable, although additional training can be provided.Ideally, you will have: Knowledge or experience of automatic door systems Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge BS 7036 / EN 16005 knowledge or ..... full job details .....
