This independent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients, from audit, accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.Book-keeping and management accounts preparationPreparing and submitting self-assessment and partnership tax returns, and VAT returns.Liaising with clients.Supporting and guiding less experienced staff. To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, ideally you should meet the following: Experience of Iris, Xero, Quick Books, Sage would be beneficial.Able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.Friendly, confident manner and be happy to work as part of a team as well as independently.Audit experience would also be preferable.AAT qualified or qualified by experience.Experience working as a Senior Accountant in Practice.
