Engineering Manager

TV and media, live event production, eCommerce, security, aerospace

Engineering Manager

to lead a small, high impact research team focused on:•

Video and point cloud compression•

AI and ML applications

such as Generative AI, intelligent edge, media indexing•

Algorithm optimization

for performance and visual qualityYou will work closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure research outcomes are translated into practical and commercial solutions.Strong understanding of

data compression

including lossy and lossless techniques, color spaces, and visual quality metrics• Proficiency in

Python and C++• Understanding of

parallel processing programming• Solid grasp of the

software development lifecycle• Experience with

visual quality assessment

techniques• Knowledge of

TensorFlow

,

Generative AI

, or

media indexing• Experience with

standards organisations

and conference presentations• Comfortable with

Agile workflows

, JIRA, and Git version controlWork on
