Multi-Trader / Installation Technician

Frontline Construction Recruitment is recruiting a Multi-Trader / Installation Technician for a rapidly growing business specialising in secure garden enclosures for cats.

This is a practical, hands-on installation role and would suit an experienced Multi-Trader, Carpenter, Joiner, Fencing Installer, Installation Technician, Handyman or similar tradesperson.

The successful candidate will become a key member of the team, carrying out installations at customers' homes and working alongside a labourer.

The Role:

• Installing secure cat enclosures to existing garden fencing
• Carrying out carpentry, joinery and basic fencing work
• Assessing existing fencing and identifying repair or replacement requirements
• Carrying out minor repairs and alterations where required
• Using hand and power tools
• Measuring, cutting and fitting materials accurately
• Working alongside a labourer to complete installations
• Ensuring installations are neat, secure and completed to a high standard
• Travelling to domestic customer sites across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
• Communicating professionally with customers
• Working independently and taking responsibility for completing jobs

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Multi-Trader, Carpenter, Joiner, Fencing Installer, Installation Technician, Handyman or in a similar practical trade
• Good carpentry and general practical skills
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Experience working with timber, fencing or similar materials
• Good measuring and problem-solving ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working independently at customers' homes
• Professional, reliable and trustworthy
• Good communication and customer service skills
