Audit and Accounts Senior - Top 40 Practice Peterborough (Hybrid) £40,000 - £48,000 A Top 40 Accounting Firm is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join its Peterborough team. You will manage a varied portfolio of external clients, prepare accounts and tax work, support audit assignments and review junior colleagues'' work, while working closely with managers, partners and clients. The role offers a supportive environment with opportunities to develop your technical and client-facing skills. Role Responsibilities Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies. Prepare independent examinations for charity clients for Partner sign-off. Assist managers with client audit assignments. Prepare cash flow statements and supporting schedules. Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and obtain information. Complete assignments accurately, within budget and to agreed deadlines. Prepare draft tax computations and schedules for tax returns. Prepare year-end accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Review work completed by junior members of the team. Support the development and training of junior staff. Complete VAT returns. Personal Requirements Current or recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
