We are working with an established construction subcontractor in Nottinghamshire looking to recruit an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to support with contract review and negotiation across a range of construction projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will focus on reviewing amended JCT, NEC and bespoke subcontract agreements, ensuring contractual terms align with the company''s legal policies and commercial requirements.Your Day-To-Day Duties:Reviewing amended JCT, NEC and bespoke subcontract agreementsIdentifying contractual risks, liabilities and potential commercial exposureNegotiating contractual amendments within agreed legal policy parametersReviewing and advising on subcontract terms and conditionsEnsuring contractual amendments align with internal legal policies and proceduresLiaising with commercial teams and relevant stakeholders on contract queriesSupporting the resolution of contractual issues and potential risksProviding commercial input to support informed contract decisionsThe RequirementsProven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role within the construction industryStrong knowledge of JCT, NEC and bespoke construction contractsPrevious experience reviewing and negotiating subcontract agreementsUnderstanding of contractual risk and commercial implicationsAbility to work independently and manage contract reviews effectivelyStrong communication, negotiation and analytical skillsRate and PackageThe rate on offer is ..... full job details .....
