Mechanical Fitter High Voltage Projects Glasgow (UK travel) Nationwide Permanent OTE up to £60k + profit share We re working with a well-established, 100% employee-owned Tier 1 high-voltage contractor that s busy and growing fast. They need an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their HV installation teams on major substation, renewable and grid projects up to 132 kV. What you ll actually be doing Assembling outdoor HV plant substations, switchgear, transformers, steelwork Oxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding (Cadweld) Ductor testing, torque checks, inspections and quality sign-off Mentoring and guiding less experienced fitters Supporting the wider electrical installation team when required Representing the company professionally and living the safety-first culture What you need 5+ years proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter Strong oxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding skills Experience on new-build HV switchgear/substation projects is a big plus Good working knowledge of BS7671 is an advantage Happy to mentor and lead by example Full UK driving licence and able to travel/stay away when needed Right to work in the UK The money and perks OTE up to £60k (basic + regular paid OT + travel time) Annual profit-share every year Car allowance OR company vehicle 25 days holiday + banks (option to buy more) Private medical + cashplan Pension, life cover Funded training and qualifications All PPE, tools and decent workwear supplied Real pr
