Fire & Security Service Engineer - London / M25
Up to £55,000 basic + uncapped commission | Travel time, overtime and call-out pay
 
Do you want a service role with a high basic salary and commission that has no ceiling? A well-established fire and security business is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to cover London and the M25. You''ll be covering a patch of mainly custodial sites, plus commercial and public sector customers. There will be occasional travel to Kent and Sussex.
 
The role

• Maintain fire and security systems across your assigned area
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to service calls
• Work in line with current standards and customer requirements
• Keep customers informed and updated when arranging site visits
• Spot opportunities for additional work and earn commission on it

Systems you may work on

Experience with some of these is useful, and you don''t need all of them:

• Fire alarms: Gent, Notifier and Protec
• Intruder alarms: Galaxy and Pyronix
• CCTV: Hanwha and Hikvision
• Access control: Paxton and Salto

About you

• At least five years'' experience in a similar fire and security service role
• Good working knowledge of fire alarm and security systems
• Organised, professional and presentable
• Strong customer service skills, and you''re happy to deal directly with customers

• Basic salary of up to £55,000
• Uncapped sales commission, with OTE considerably higher than the basic salary
