Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and LearningPlan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales.Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including ALN pupils.Use a range of teaching strategies to support literacy, numeracy, and digital competence.Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.Classroom ManagementCreate a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.Promote high expectations of behaviour and learning.Foster pupils'' wellbeing, confidence, and independence.Professional ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders.Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.Participate in staff meetings, professional learning, and school events.Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.Person SpecificationEssential CriteriaQualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in Wales.Experience of teaching in a primary school setting (including NQTs/ECTs if applicable).Knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.Strong classroom management and organisational skills.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
