Site Manager | South Yorkshire | £50k - £55k + Package

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in delivering new build steel frame projects, looking for your next opportunity with an established main contractor?

We're recruiting for a regional main contractor looking to appoint a Site Manager to oversee the construction of a £4m new build retail unit on a mixed-use development in South Yorkshire.

The Role;

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of a £4m new build retail unit
• Manage day-to-day site operations, subcontractors and site activities
• Oversee the construction of a steel frame building through to completion
• Coordinate trades, materials and site logistics
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standards
• Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team
• Monitor progress, manage site records and resolve any delivery issues

What We're Looking For;

• Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager with a main contractor
• Track record of independently delivering new build projects valued up to c£4m
• Previous experience delivering steel frame construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programming and site management
• Confident managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
