We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Doncaster.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ambitious ECT, to become part of a supportive school community. The successful candidate will initially provide lesson cover across both Year 5 and Year 6, building positive relationships with pupils and staff while gaining a strong understanding of the school and its expectations.

The role will then progress to taking full-time responsibility for a Year 5 class as the Year 5 Teacher.

• Teach and deliver engaging lessons across Year 5 and Year 6 initially.
• Provide high-quality teaching and learning that meets the needs of all pupils.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, attainment and progress.
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the school''s curriculum.
• Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class as the role progresses.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• Qualified to teach in the UK with QTS (or equivalent).
• Experienced in, or passionate about, teaching across KS2.
• Confident teaching both Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
• An engaging and creative classroom practitioner.
• Able to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Committed to raising achievement and supporting every child to reach their potential.
• Adaptable, enthusiastic and ready to become an integral member of the school team.
