Clarkson Owens Recruitment is working with an established construction and fit-out contractor to recruit a Working Site Supervisor with a joinery background. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced working foreman, supervisor or joiner ready to take the next step. You will combine practical joinery work with the day-to-day supervision of trades, helping deliver refurbishment and fit-out projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The company can take someone on immediately on an hourly basis, with a view to the role developing into a long-term, permanent position for the right individual. The Role Carry out joinery works while supervising day-to-day activity on site. Coordinate trades and subcontractors, ensuring work follows the agreed programme. Read drawings, plan tasks and organise materials and deliveries. Monitor workmanship, resolve practical site issues and manage snagging. Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised site. Communicate progress and any issues to the contracts manager. Help ensure projects are completed to the required standard and ready for handover. The Person A qualified or time-served joiner with strong practical skills. Experience in commercial fit-out, refurbishment or similar construction projects.
