Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Operating Machinery: Print finishers operate various machines, including folding machines, guillotine cutters, stitching machines, and binding equipment. Finishing Techniques: They perform tasks like cutting, folding, trimming, collating, binding, and laminating printed materials. Quality Control: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products by checking for errors and ensuring they meet specific standards. Hand Finishing: Will involve hand-finishing tasks like folding, binding, and packaging. Machine Maintenance: Maintaining and cleaning the equipment used in the finishing process. Following Instructions: Adhering to work instructions and procedures to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Communication: Communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues. Binding: Binding books and other publications, both by hand and machine Operating Equipment: Operating paper guillotines for pre-press and post-press paper cutting and trimming, and programming electronically-operated units on process, ensur
