Overview
A vibrant and inclusive school in Southwark is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join its successful department. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging lessons, inspiring a love of music, and helping students develop their performance, composition, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons across the relevant key stages.
- Encourage students to develop their practical, theoretical, and creative musical abilities.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
- Support and lead extracurricular music activities, including choirs, ensembles, concerts, and school productions.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes achievement and participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
