The Digital,IT, and Transformation Lead will manage, maintain, and support existingprojects and infrastructure across the PCN, ensuring they continue to delivermeasurable benefits. The role will also involve scoping, planning, anddelivering new initiatives, with a strong emphasis on enhancing digitalcapabilities and optimising IT systems.In addition,the role will provide hands-on IT support to practices within the network,resolving day-to-day issues, supporting the use of digital tools, and ensuringsystems are optimised for efficiency, security, and patient benefit. Theposition will balance operational IT support with strategic digitaltransformation, underpinned by a quality improvement methodology.Main duties of the job

TransformationProjectsOversee and maintain the delivery of existingtransformation projects ensuring sustainability and ongoing benefits.Scope, plan, and implement transformationinitiatives, working with clinical and management teams to ensure alignmentwith PCN priorities.Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of transformation projects, producing reports and recommendations for improvement;present findings to stakeholders at PCN meetingsDraft and prepare reports to support financialclaims and ensuring timely submission to theIntegrated Care BoardIT Support and InfrastructureAct as the first point of contact for IT querieswithin the PCN, providing hands-on technical support to practices.Troubleshoot and resolve software issues promptly to minimise disruption.Liaise with our external IT supplier to escalate and resolve more complex issues.Ensure implementation of systems complies with NHSEngland, GDPR and cybersecurity requirements.Training and Digital CapabilityProvide training andguidance to staff on the useof clinical systems, digital tools and IT processes.Ensure all staff receive induction on the PCNs IT systems and digitalresources.Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs and knowledge resources for practices.Data and ReportingSupport practices in using business intelligencetools to extract, interpret and act on data.Promote high standards of data quality and integrity across the network.About us

Knowledge and Skills

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365, clinical systems (e.g., EMIS), and networking basics.Understanding of NHS digital priorities and systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Problem-solving and analytical ability.Good understanding of the Digital agenda within the NHS.Effective time management (planning and organising)Ability to work as a team member and autonomouslyGood interpersonal skillsProblem-solving and analytical skillsPersonal Qualities

Digital architecture/IT-related qualification or relevant support experience (e.g., ITIL/TOGAF).Experience

Managing and maintaining digital or transformation projects in a healthcare or similar environment.Providing first-line IT support, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.Disclosure and Barring Service Check
