This role has a starting salary of £33,552 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week. These roles are offered as fixed term contracts for a year.This is a community facing role where you will work from the office but will also be required to visit family homes and school settings (when appropriate) to make observations and offer hands-on support. You will also be on call to respond to any ''crisis'' situations across the county. You will also work with the families of these children and young people.As a

Behaviour Support Worker , you will be assessing children''s behavioural functions and identifying appropriate strategies/environmental changes that can be implemented to reduce behaviours of concern. This will involve identifying on-going or long-term support needs.Shortlisting Criteria:To be considered for shortlisting for interview your application should clearly evidence the following:Experience working with children or adults with LD and ASC / behaviours of concern.Educated to GCSE standard

OR have Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English.Experience/knowledge of SEND process and pathway.Willingness to work out of hours when needed.You will need to have the willingness and ability to travel around the county to meet the demands of the role.We will provide coaching in positive behaviour support and identify any further training needs to meet the requirements of the role.Contact us:Please contact us for any questions relating to the role.
