Location: Colchester
Contract Details: Permanent
Salary: -30-35K OTE
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer to become an integral part of their dynamic UK Head Office team!

Responsibilities:
As a Buyer, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations. Daily duties will include:
- Researching and liaising with potential vendors
- Comparing pricing from various sources
- Negotiating prices and terms of business
- Preparing quotations for customers
- Placing and managing purchase orders
- Tracking orders to meet customer delivery dates
- Coordinating with the warehouse and logistics teams
- Managing supplier and customer relationships
- General customer service duties
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in a purchasing or logistics role
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers
- A motivated and detail-focused mindset
- Own transport required for travel to the workplace
- Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Experience in international trade and MRO purchasing
- Technical knowledge related to the industry
- Proficiency in foreign languages (German, Italian, or Arabic preferred)
Technologies:
Familiarity with procurement software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.
