Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hazlemere (HP15) to recruit a dedicated Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher for a September start.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about early learning and committed to helping pupils build strong foundations in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a creative and structured curriculum that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development during these crucial early years.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Supporting early phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and year group colleagues
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

You may be teaching Year 1 or Year 2, depending on experience and school need.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (including ECTs with KS1 placements)
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and age-related expectations
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic teaching approach
• Availability to start in September
• Ability to commute to Hazlemere, HP15

• Pay in line with the MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
