Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Caretaker to join their Grounds Maintenance Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Carry out grounds maintenance and street cleansing duties including litter picking, leaf clearance, strimming, weeding and basic horticultural works Maintain public open spaces, parks, car parks, cemeteries, highway verges and play areas Operate, maintain and clean vehicles, plant and equipment (where trained), completing daily safety checks and reporting defects Undertake basic maintenance and painting of street furniture Apply pesticides and herbicides where qualified Carry out visual inspections of play areas and report or complete minor repairs Essential Requirements Experience in grounds maintenance, street cleansing or a similar outdoor operational role Good understanding of health and safety and safe working practices Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you.
