Are you a Financial Controller from a Motor Trade background looking to become the go-to financial specialist within an established group, taking ownership of financial performance across multiple sites while building towards senior leadership?

This long-established UK business operates within the motor vehicle retail and aftersales industry, supplying new and used cars from major global manufacturers, alongside servicing, MOT, parts support, and light commercial vehicle solutions.

In this role, you will oversee monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial performance across the group. You will work closely with dealership managers, develop the Accounts Team and maintain strong financial controls. Based in Telford, you will visit other dealerships, with a clear path into senior leadership for the right person.

This role would suit a Financial with strong commercial awareness and management accounting skills, from a motor trade background, looking to join an established business offering long-term career progression.

The Role:

• Oversee monthly management accounts across three dealerships
• Support dealership managers with financial performance
• Manage budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Mentor and develop the Accounts Team
• Liaise with stakeholders and auditors, maintaining financial controls
• Monday-Friday, office-based

The Person:

• Financial Controller or similar
• Motor trade or dealership experience
• Keyloop expereince
• Commutable to Telford
