Core Subject Specialist Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Core Subject Specialist Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bromley on a full-time, 5-day per week basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a strong academic background in a core subject (English, Mathematics, or Science) who is passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential.

About the Role
As a Core Subject Specialist LSA, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide targeted academic support within the classroom. Your subject knowledge will play a key role in helping students understand complex concepts, build confidence, and develop their learning skills.

You will support students both in whole-class settings and through small group or one-to-one interventions, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge in a core subject (English, Mathematics, or Science)

• A degree in a relevant subject (preferred)

• The ability to support students with a range of learning needs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning
