Commercial Account Managers are responsible for working with existing clients and new clients to sell company products, including negotiating and closing long-term contracts. This role will be responsible for the sales process from BRFC to Close, while leveraging resources effectively throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals, while articulating the value propositions of Sovos products and services. This role will work with various departments throughout the company with an emphasis on Sales, Legal and Finance. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals process.Upsell and cross sell Sovos solution to customers in existing client baseProspect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunitiesSell and promote SaaS solutions to new accountsDevelop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensures quota attainmentAct with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholdersTake full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfactionLeverages multiple communication methodsSkilled at time management and prioritizationEffective at territory planning and executionEfficient at asking questions to understand needs and uncover opportunitiesActs as a role model and mentor across organization sharing best practices and messaging etc.What We Need From You

Ability to navigate and manage end to end sales cycles1-3 years experience as BDR, quota-carrying Sales role or similar; software solution sales preferredKnowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.comBachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experienceBusiness travel may be required to attend client meetings and conferencesInteract effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customersComprehend and communicate complex conceptsConcentrate, analyze and resolve complex problemsUtilize technology (e.g. phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements and effective communicationMakes their own opportunities for learning experiencesLearn from support for additional insight on how solution worksUnderstand how product works from Support POVWhat Does Sovos Offer You?
