Senior Murex Front Office Business Analyst

Synechron is looking for a Senior Murex Front Office Business Analyst to cover Production support for a tier-1 Japanese Bank on a multi-year contract.Joining an experienced and supportive team you will play a crucial role in optimising our client''s Murex platform.You will work closely with front office users, building a deep understanding of the Murex system to deliver robust, innovative solutions that drive efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with FO users in the management, resolution and requirement of any system issues that ariseWork in resolving issues, creating and delivering solutionsAnalyse and resolve issues related to system configuration, PandL, simulation views, static data, GOM, market data, market operations, EOD, pre-trade, etc.Liaise with technical and business support teams and Murex vendorEscalate identified issues / risksProvide detailed information about issues to the vendor, and co-ordinates in testing fixes / solutionsPerform routine administrative / technical tasks to maintain the systemWork on small BAU projects to deliver extended functionality and enhancements to the FO users, familiar with the systems development life cycleAssist in resolving issues around general system configuration, User Groups, Access Rights, Portfolios, etc.Provide training to business users and assists the business in adapting to the Murex environmentPrepare and send effective status reports to IT / Business managersEnsure documentation and deliverables are consistent with defined standardMurex certifications or relevant trainingx6 years in depth FO Murex experienceProduct knowledge (rates, commodities and FX)Deal booking, pricing, events, e-tradepad and simulation issuesAble to analyse market data issues, maturity set, fixings, instrument configuration, simulation, PandL issues, payments, etc.Configuration and static data set up for portfolio, counterparty, products, mappingsUnderstanding of Murex screens OSPAbility to debug/analyse issues related to trade issues, payment scopes, reporting and interfaceExperience in system configuration, PandL analysis, simulation views, static data, GOM, market data, market operations, EOD, pre-trade and other FO areasResolving issues around general system configuration, User Groups, Access Rights, Portfolios, etc.Knowledge of SQL and experience with reporting toolsExperience working with Jira and Agile SDLCThis is a multi year contract role to join the Synechron SI Practice, based from city office (x4 days in office)Synechron''s Diversity StatementSynechron are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
