Overview
Merstham Park School is seeking an organised, friendly and flexible Office Admin Assistant to join our supportive team on a fixed-term basis until 17 July 2026.As a key member of our school office, you will provide essential administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school. You will look after students’ needs, support colleagues and provide a professional and friendly point of contact to all parents and visitors. The successful candidate will have experience in an administrative role, ideally at a secondary school, and should have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will need a warm, caring and professional manner at all times, as you will be dealing face to face with students, parents and carers daily. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in a welcoming school community.
Responsibilities
Provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Look after students’ needs and support colleagues.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Associate 2 - £22,918 FTE (pay award pending)
Actual Salary: £18,073 Actual (pay award pending)
Hours of work: 33 hours per week (with unpaid lunch) - Term time only. Working hours between 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. Part-time applications will be considered where the needs of the school can be met.
