Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary schools across Southampton
Hours: Full-time or part-time (typically 08:30 – 15:30; hours may vary)
Pay: £13.68 per hour

GSL is proud to partner with a range of inclusive and welcoming primary schools in Southampton. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in supporting pupils'' learning, offering both in-class support and one-to-one assistance, particularly for those with SEN.

• Provide tailored support to pupils, including one-to-one and small group work

• Assist children with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and thrive

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to enhance student progress

• Potential for long-term or permanent opportunities in schools

• Previous experience supporting children, ideally with SEN or in primary education

• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine desire to help children grow, develop, and achieve their best
