Global Gaming Content Organisation seeks an Interim Financial Controller to join the business on a temporary contract. The Financial Controller will play a key role in the financial controllership of the business with primary responsibility for its European operations and close collaboration with Finance teams supporting the wider global business.The Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining a strong financial control environment, overseeing statutory and tax compliance, and ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet across the entities within scope.The role will work closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Commercial Finance and other business stakeholders while supporting the continued development and standardisation of finance processes.Duties of the Financial Controller include: Own and lead the monthly close process for the entities within the role''s scope, with particular focus on the UK and European operations. Review entity trial balances, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, intercompany balances, transfer pricing entries and month-end reporting. Maintain strong balance sheet control and ensure reconciling items are understood, supported and resolved on a timely basis. Perform analytical review of the PandL and balance sheet, providing clear explanations of material movements and unusual items.
