Bookkeeper Lisburn, Full-Time, Permanent, £30,000 - £38,000 DOE Apple Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful commercial organisation based in Lisburn for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in a varied role and wants to become a key part of a busy and growing business. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and accounting systems Process purchase and sales invoices Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations Prepare and submit VAT returns Assist with month-end procedures and management accounts preparation Process payroll and maintain payroll records Monitor cash flow and support financial reporting activities Liaise with suppliers, customers and external accountants Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls Provide general finance and administrative support as required Essential Criteria Previous bookkeeping experience within a commercial environment Strong understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication and ..... full job details .....
