This position offers a varied role involving material handling, stock movement, metal processing, and dispatch activities within a safety-focused environment.The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to health and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesLoading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.Safe operation of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.Completing all operational paperwork and pre-use inspections accurately.Processing materials to customer specifications.Packing and preparing finished metal products for dispatch.Following written procedures and work instructions.Maintaining high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department.Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.About YouEssentialPrevious experience within a warehouse, metals/manufacturing, or distribution environment.Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.Experience loading and unloading vehicles.Good communication and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a ..... full job details .....
