Senior Project Lead
Location: Hampshire (minimum 1 day per week on-site)
Rate: Day Rate circa -500 (Negotiable)
Working Pattern: Hybrid, with at least 1 day per week on site

Spencer Clarke Group''s Local Authority client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead to oversee three significant programmes of work, managing three direct reports. The portfolio will include a mix of housing and commercial property projects, with a clear bias towards housing.

You will need a strong construction delivery background with evidence of successfully delivering multiple large-scale, complex programmes circa -50m+, alongside robust stakeholder and contract management capability.

Responsibilities include

• Oversee delivery of 3 concurrent programmes, ensuring pace, quality and governance
  
• Lead and develop direct reports, driving accountability and performance
  
• Manage delivery across housing (primary) and commercial assets (secondary)
  
• Provide clear programme reporting, risk management and mitigation planning
  
• Ensure projects align with Building Safety Act requirements and best practice
  
• Handle contract management and dispute resolution routes, including mediation and litigation where required
  

About you

• Senior-level construction delivery experience across complex capital programmes (circa -50m+)
  
• Proven multi-programme leadership and line management experience
  
• Strong, recent Building Safety Act exposure (essential)
  
• Confident contract management skills, including dispute resolution (mediation/litigation)
  
• Able to attend site at least 1 day per week
