Job Summary-
We are seeking a skilled Mill Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will-possess-a strong background in fabrication and mechanical knowledge, with experience in operating milling machines and handling various materials. This role requires-proficiency-in using programmable logic controllers and CAD software, including SolidWorks, to ensure precision in manufacturing processes. The Mill Operator will play a crucial role in-maintaining-quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.-

Duties-

• Operate milling machines and other fabrication equipment to produce components as per specifications-

• Set up and adjust tooling and fixtures for machining operations-

• Utilise programmable logic controllers to-monitor-and control machine functions-

• Perform quality checks on finished products using basic math skills to ensure compliance with specifications-

• Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse-

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations-

• Collaborate with team members during assembly processes and-assist-with welding tasks when necessary-

• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues to management-

Requirements-

• Proven experience in milling, fabrication, or similar roles within a manufacturing environment-

• Proficiency-in SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes-

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues-

• Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and materials handling practices-

• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks-

• Previous-warehouse experience is-advantageous, including assembly line work-

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team-
