Structural Design EngineerColchester 40k- 45k plus benefitsOur client has an opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer to join their Colchester office. You will become part of a talented group of structural engineering professionals. You will work on a diverse range of new-build and refurbishment projects, including high-end private residential dwellings and large-scale mixed-use developments as well as projects in sectors such as office and commercial, education, arts, healthcare, life sciences and industry. Requirements:Minimum of 3 years'' experience with good theoretical and practical knowledge of designing in the main structural building materials; concrete, steel, masonry and timberSupport the team by undertaking design calculations, assisting with the delivery of design packagesAttendance at design team meetings and site visits, report writing etc. As you become embedded in the practice, you will have the opportunity to lead and run your own projects with ongoing support. You will also join an accredited IStructE and/or ICE training programmes with tailored mentoring and coaching, helping you to progress towards CEng status.
