Job Description We are currently recruiting an experienced Carpenter for an immediate start, initially based on a project in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will join a Direct Works Team, carrying out a range of carpentry works across residential construction projects, including new-build housing developments, bespoke new builds, renovations and extensions. The role will primarily involve 2nd fix carpentry and finishing works. However, candidates with a broad range of carpentry skills and good general building knowledge are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out 2nd fix carpentry and finishing works to a high standard. Completing a variety of carpentry tasks across residential construction projects. Working across new-build developments, bespoke properties, renovations and extensions. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail. Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Adapting to different sites and project requirements across the Midlands. Requirements: Proven experience as a Carpenter, particularly in 2nd fix and finishing works. A good range of general carpentry skills and sound building knowledge. Own tools and reliable transport. Willingness to travel to sites across Birmingham and the Midlands. Reliable, adaptable and professional approach to work. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality finishes.
