MMP Consultancy is seeking a Head of Capital Projects and Planning on behalf of an NHS Trust in Surrey. This role involves overseeing the Trust''s capital programme, which includes the management of construction, maintenance, and operational activities. with legislative standards and meet sustainability goals.This is initially a 3-month contract to be whilst they find somebody on a substantive basis. The rate of pay for this role is negotiable but will be inside of IR35.Key Responsibilities:Develop, manage, and implement the Trust''s capital programme (both short and long-term), ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with NHS and statutory guidelines.Establish and oversee a standardised project management framework, ensuring robust risk management, KPI tracking, and progress monitoring.: Lead the Capital Planning Team, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusivity, while ensuring alignment with clinical and operational needs.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs), and CQC standards.Drive initiatives aligned with sustainability goals, including carbon reduction and NHS Net Zero targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, NHS partners, and regulatory bodies.Qualifications and Training:A degree or equivalent, corporate membership of relevant professional body (e.g., APM, RICS, CIBSE), and a project management qualificatio
