The successful candidate will work on the assembly, installation and testing of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in specialist vehicle and equipment builds.This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled fitter who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a close-knit engineering team. Key Responsibilities Assemble and fit mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and sub-assemblies. Install pumps, valves, pipework, hose reels, tanks, and frames to specification. Work accurately from detailed engineering drawings and instructions. Carry out mechanical alignment, pressure, and flow tests on completed assemblies. Liaise with electrical and hydraulic teams to ensure correct system integration. Follow workshop and health and safety procedures at all times. Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship, and attention to detail. Support continuous improvement and problem-solving activities within the workshop.
