Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Nights
Salary: -47,000 - -49,000 per annum + overtime at time and a half
Hours: Week 1:- Sunday to Tuesday, 6.00pm - 6.30am / Week 2: Sunday to Wednesday, 6.00pm - 6.30am
Location: Commutable from Stockport, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Wilmslow, Stretford and surrounding areas

A heavy plant manufacturing company who offer challenging and rewarding careers to Engineers are looking for an, Multi Skilled Engineer, who wants to be part of an established, loyal and successful team.

This position is a nights role and as a company they also offer opportunities to take on further training and complete qualifications as you grow and progress in the role and company.

Responsibilities
Working on a weekly rotation of; Week 1:- Sunday to Tuesday, 6.00pm - 6.30am -and Week 2: Sunday to Wednesday, 6.00pm - 6.30am

Reporting into the Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Manager, your role will include:

• Supportive maintenance across a good and interesting mix of equipment and machinery.
• 75% of your work is planned preventative, project and continuous improvement work. 25% is reactive, attending to and resolving breakdowns.
• Working across a range of work including belts, bearings, motors, sensors, gears, relays, PLC''s, pumps, drives, 3 phase, chains, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
• Help support continuous improvements to machinery, planned shutdowns
• You will be given a company mobile phone to access maintenance system app, used to help you access outstanding jobs, pass on information such as completed jobs, troubles encountered and uploading/downloading diagrams etc.

Requirements

• Apprentice-trained in a multi-skilled engineering discipline OR time served as a multi-skilled engineer
• Strong knowledge of maintenance experience and diagnostics of hydraulic / pneumatic / electrical control systems
• NVQ 3 or equivalent
• Experienced Multi Skilled Engineer, electrical and mechanical, within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment
• Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in
• Friendly and adaptable working attitude
