Occupational TherapistFull time locum contract 32.50p/h UmbrellaOffice-Based with community visits in WestminsterOur Local Authority Client is recruit a locum Occupational Therapist for their Adult Social Care Team in Westminster.Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of complex cases, including clients with multiple physical, cognitive, and environmental challenges.Conduct in-depth home visits to assess functional needs, environmental risks, and suitability for adaptations or equipment.Complete manual handling assessments, including risk assessments and safe handling plans involving hoists, slings, and transfer aids.Prescribe and oversee major adaptations (e.g. level access showers, stairlifts, ramps, through-floor lifts) in collaboration with housing and DFG teams.Provide clinical reasoning and justification for high-cost equipment and structural changes, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.Support hospital discharge planning and hospital avoidance by ensuring timely provision of essential equipment and adaptations.Requirements:Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.HCPC registration.Proven experience in local authority settings and working with vulnerable adults.Knowledge of equipment provision, minor and major adaptations, and relevant legislation.If you are interested in this role, please contact Kaylah on or (phone number removed) and submit your application.Referral Scheme:If you are not interested in this role but know someone else who might be,
