Specialist SEND Tutor - Warrington

Location: Warrington
Hours: 5-15 hours per week

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Specialist SEND Tutor to provide personalised educational support to pupils with additional needs. The successful candidate will be confident delivering tailored lessons and adapting their approach to help learners overcome barriers to education.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualised tuition based on pupils'' specific needs.
Support learners with complex needs and SEND.
Adapt resources and teaching strategies to encourage engagement.
Develop positive relationships and promote confidence.
Monitor progress against individual learning targets.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS or equivalent.
UK classroom teaching experience.
Experience supporting pupils with complex needs and SEND.
Experience working with disengaged learners.
A patient, creative and flexible approach.

To be eligible, the Specialist SEND Tutor must:
Hold the right to work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced DBS including the child barred list, ideally on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain the required clearance.
Provide two professional references, including child-related experience.
