• Pay: -85.50110 per day, depending on experience and assignment.

• Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.
• Contract: Flexible supply and longer-term opportunities, depending on vacancies.

Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant

You will provide targeted support for pupils who need additional help with reading, writing or mathematics, including pupils with SEND.

• Deliver structured one-to-one and small-group interventions under teacher guidance.
• Support phonics, reading fluency, comprehension and writing skills.
• Use practical resources to develop number knowledge and mathematical understanding.
• Record progress and share feedback so teachers can adapt the next steps.

What We''re Looking For in a SEN Teaching Assistant

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, or relevant school, tutoring or intervention experience.
• A SEN Teaching Assistant who can explain ideas clearly, recognise learning gaps and follow an agreed programme.
• Confident literacy and numeracy skills; phonics or intervention programme experience is advantageous.
• Safeguarding awareness and an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
