Infrastructure Service Design andamp; Operating Model Consultant - Edge Hosting£600-£645/day | Inside IR35 | 6 months | UK HybridWe are recruiting for a senior Infrastructure Service Design/Operating Model Consultant to establish a new Edge Hosting service within a global manufacturing organisation.The programme is introducing standardised infrastructure hosting across multiple factories. The requirement is to turn the technical platform into a fully defined, governed and operational service that can be adopted consistently across the business.This is a senior service-design and transformation role, rather than a hands-on infrastructure engineering position.Key experience:Establishing enterprise infrastructure, private-cloud or hybrid-cloud servicesDefining Target Operating Models (TOM), service ownership, governance and RACICreating service catalogues, service boundaries and consumption modelsDesigning repeatable onboarding, deployment and service-acceptance processesEstablishing SLAs, KPIs, operational controls and reportingITIL service management, capacity, life cycle, resilience and support arrangementsCoordinating architecture, engineering, security, operations and business stakeholdersTransitioning service ownership into permanent operational teamsA broad understanding of infrastructure hosting, virtualisation, cloud, networking and distributed platforms is required.Experience of manufacturing IT/OT, Edge Hosting, SIAM, ServiceNow or global multi-site infrastructure ..... full job details .....
