Fully onsiteHours - Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pmA security services provider running patient observation at an NHS hospital in the Colchester area is looking for a Security Supervisor to lead its officers on site. Officers are called to the wards to stay with patients who are distressed, at risk, or likely to leave, many of them in mental health crisis.As Security Supervisor you are the person the officers rely on and the person the wards call. This is not a front-facing role: the job is making sure every officer is briefed, supported and covered, and that every incident is handled and documented properly.WHAT YOU WILL DOVisit every ward with an officer on it each morning, checking handovers, uniform, licences and patient knowledgeAttend incidents, de-escalate, and establish what happened and whether it was handled wellGather reports, statements and evidence for the hospital, safeguarding teams and the policeBuild working relationships with ward staff and the hospital''s own security teamFollow up assaults on officers and recommend extra cover where the risk calls for itManage breaks, approve weekly timesheets and order uniformPrepare and present monthly performance figures to the hospitalWHAT YOU WILL NEEDA current SIA Door Supervisor licenceExperience in the security industryExperience supervising or leading a team of security officers or stewardsSome knowledge of ..... full job details .....
