We''re working with an established and successful business in Stockton-on-Tees that is looking to add an experienced Welder/Fabricator to its workshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys working with steel, fabrication and industrial equipment. You''ll be involved in everything from welding and fabrication through to repair, refurbishment and finishing, working from engineering drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard. What will you be doing? Carrying out MIG/MAG welding on steel components and fabricated assemblies Fabricating, repairing and refurbishing industrial equipment and machinery components Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication specifications Preparing materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning and joint preparation Assembling and positioning components prior to welding Ensuring welds meet required quality and safety standards Carrying out finishing work and inspecting completed components Using workshop machinery, tools and equipment safely and effectively Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines What are we looking for?
