Senior Quantity Surveyor

Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a well-respected Main Contractor for a site based in Bedford. This is an exciting new role due to additional workload with new projects secured and started on site.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes and Reece are working with a well-respected Main Contractor that have a network of offices both regionally and in London. Our client has a proven track record delivering a variety of Construction project within both the public and private sectors across Commercial, Residential, Hotel, Student Accommodations, Education, and health care.

Being a financially stable business with a steady turnover, our client is selective about the projects they secure which has resulted in Surveyors having successful projects with no legacy issues. Due to their repeat business, and relationships they have a growing turnover more than -650 Million with the platform to maintain this level and keep growing at a steady rate.

They are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team to work on a -100 Million PCSA scheme that goes live on site in June 2027. for this project you will be looking after 2 new building, consisting of industrial and commercial offices. the Senior QS will be responsible for the PCSA Period, managing the client and when site based responsible for 2 Quantity Surveyors.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, they are looking for someone to promote these values and support the Senior Commercial team and existing junior members.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Working from PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts
• Procurement across all sub-contracting accounts
• Pricing, and managing change and variations.
• site meetings
• Client and CVRS

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor

• 10 Years experience within Construction Quantity Surveying position with a Main Contractor
• Good Communication skills
• Quantity Surveyor degree or working towards
• Ability to build strong relationships.
