Overview We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join our established client s Engineering and Maintenance team, in Bilborough, Nottingham. Job Details and Benefits • £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience • Flexible working hours between 7am-9pm Monday-Friday, must be availabe for call out • Free onsite parking • Company pension scheme • Progression in the position The Role You will play a crucial role in ensuring all machinery, equipment, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime across our worktop manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical diagnostic skills with a good understanding of basic electrical systems to support effective fault finding and repair of conveyors, saws and auxiliary systems. Key Responsibilities Maintenance and Repairs • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery, tools, and plant equipment. • Respond to breakdowns, diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults (bearings, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, drives, etc.). • Assist with basic electrical fault finding when required. Continuous Improvement • Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency.
