Our client based near Gillingham is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist - ideally milling - Haas machines, who will spend part of the week working as an Inspector.Salary: Top rates paid depending on skill level + overtimeHours: Hours to suit as the company run 24 hoursBasic Hours: 40 pwLocation: near GillinghamThis will be a dual role working as Inspector on Monday and Friday and machining at all other times.The starting rate is negotiable depending on your skill level - anyone interested in the role may be offered a day''s trial so you can meet the team and see the company at work.The company work a standard 40 hour week but do offer regular overtime (subject to workload)The CNC Machinist Inspector:• Capable of setting and operation CNC machine centres - 5 axis (Haas) • Offline programming experience an advantage• Programming Haas CNC machinery, Mastercam software - desirable • Aerospace industry experience would be ideal• Able to work in a variety of materials - aluminium, stainless steel, titanium etc• The work is varied - prototypes, one off production and small batch work.• First off inspection• In process inspection• First article
