Salary £50-£55K PAReports to Account ManagerDirect reports - 8 Engineers, mix of continental shift 4 on 4 off days.Working within a High performing team in one of London''s most prestigious towers the Engineering Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all engineering services within a multi tenanted corporate building. This role leads a team of 8 engineers and oversees the delivery of planned maintenance and reactive works , ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction in line with the expectation of a high-profile building.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Management Line manage, lead, and develop a team of 8 engineers, ensuring effective coverage across all shifts. Conduct beginning, mid-year and year end performance reviews, appraisals, and training plans. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Manage staffing levels, shift rotas, and absence/holiday planning. Act as the primary escalation point for engineering issues.Operations and Maintenance Oversee all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities ensuring a KPI of over 95% is upheld. Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met (e.g., HVAC, electrical, water hygiene). Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimise efficiency and reliability.
