Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for an experienced Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join a well-established service business based in Motherwell.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will provide efficient and accurate payroll support across the group, helping to ensure all payrolls are processed correctly and within the required deadlines.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls from end to end.
• Processing PAYE, NIC and statutory payments, including SMP, SAP, SPP and SSP.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of auto-enrolment and pension requirements.
• Processing new starters, leavers, P45s, P60s, pensions, auto-enrolments, student loans and earnings arrestments.
• Responding to and resolving employee payroll queries.
• Ensuring all payroll deadlines are met.
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring all information is processed correctly.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a payroll administration role.
• Experience processing payrolls from start to finish.
• Good knowledge of PAYE, NIC and statutory payments.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
• A reliable and professional approach to their work.
