Part-Time Functional Skills Maths and English Tutor About the Role We are seeking a motivated and supportive Functional Skills Maths and English Tutor to join work on a part-time basis. You will deliver engaging, learner-focused sessions to support students in achieving their Functional Skills qualifications and developing confidence in essential numeracy and literacy skills. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Functional Skills Maths and English lessons (Entry Level to Level 2) Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback Prepare learners for assessments and exams Maintain accurate records in line with organisational requirements Provide a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Requirements Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 3/4 Award in Education and Training) or willingness to work towards one Functional Skills or GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above Experience teaching Functional Skills Maths and/or English Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage learners with varying abilities Desirable Experience working with learners with additional needs Assessing qualification (TAQA/A1 or equivalent) Experience delivering online or blended learning You must have a clear DBS certificate to be considered for this role.
